Are you a high school junior looking for a summer full of new experiences, valuable skills and a paycheck? Then the Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow summer work program, hosted by Coastal Electric Cooperative, is calling your name!
From now until April 23, Coastal Electric is accepting applications for this awesome program. Not only will you earn $10 an hour (up to 40 hours a week), but you'll also dive into hands-on training in exciting career fields like:
Engineering
Business
Line work & construction
Safety
Customer service
IT, marketing, and more!
By joining the Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow program, you'll get a taste of various careers and learn what it’s really like to work for an electric cooperative. Plus, you’ll collaborate with other high school students from across coastal Georgia and even volunteer in the community—making memories and building connections along the way.
The Details:
Pay: $10/hour, up to 40 hours/week
Eligibility: Must be 16 or older, have completed 11th grade, and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
Dates: June 2 – July 25 (must be available for the full program)
