Job Purpose:
Performs administrative services and coordinates programs for the Marketing, Communications, & Economic Development Department.
Duties
High school diploma or state equivalency certificate required. Associate’s degree (A.A.) from an accredited college or technical school is highly desirable. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years administrative and/or communications experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common marketing and industry-related materials. Must be able to present information to senior staff or public groups effectively. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to create executive-level correspondence. Ability to utilize office automation technology, such as calculator, personal computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs and Gmail). Ability to handle confidential information and ability to work flexible hours or workweek during special events or projects. Ability to travel overnight to various job-related seminars, conferences, and/or industry meetings. Must have and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record, as use of company vehicles may be required in this job.Salary Range: $64,209-$78,852
