Job Purpose:

Engineering interns are an essential part of the team and are assigned tasks that challenge the development of the student’s technical skills while introducing them to electrical distribution engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drawing electrical circuits
• Assisting with GIS mapping
• Compiling and analyzing electrical data
• Staking of electrical distribution construction projects
• Field experience of electrical distribution construction
• Performs other job related duties as assigned

Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in an engineering or related program, junior or senior classification

  Abilities / Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, good verbal and written communication skills, must display professionalism and maturity

  Employer Expectations:

• Demonstrates skills to complete an assigned task, demonstrates ability to solve problems, maintains professional behavior and appearance, exhibits dependability, demonstrates responsibility

  Details:

• The position begins June 3, 2024 and ends July 26, 2024. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week
